TUTORTRAC

Tutortrac is a web application that provides a convenient way for you to:

  • book and cancel appointments from any computer
  • reserve material from our lending library
  • download documents that we have uploaded to your account

There are several benefits to using Tutortrac:

  • no pre-scheduled group session will be greater than four individuals
  • more single person sessions will be available
  • reserve materials may be taken home

Because Tutortrac has been adopted by the Writing Center, you may schedule appointments with both centers from your Tutortrac homepage.

Click LOGIN to start searching for tutoring sessions or if you had to request to have a Tutortrac account created then click alternate login. Tutor Qualifications

Our tutors receive extensive initial and ongoing training. The majority are peer tutors who have received at least a B+ in the courses that they wish to tutor. Most have taken these courses here at R-N. In addition, every tutor has a solid overall academic record not falling below a 3.0. Finally, our tutors provide personal and caring service and stress the benefits of early preparation and regular study.

To fully benefit from tutoring, please come prepared to ask specific clarifying questions and otherwise fully participate in the tutoring session as an active participant, having attended classes, read your textbook, taken and reviewed your notes, and attempted your assignment.

You may request additional times or subjects by dropping in to our center and filling out a tutoring request form, phoning in your information to one of our friendly reception area student workers or filling out this request form. Please complete this form only if you have already searched our tutoring schedule. We can respond to your request with a schedule change no earlier than one week after receipt. Please call to speak with the director, if you cannot create a Pegasus account or are otherwise unable to login to Tutortrac.

The Rutgers Learning Center caters to the needs of R-N undergraduates by providing comprehensive learning services. Our mission is to strengthen student learning by providing tutoring, Supplemental Instruction, learning assessment and strategic learning instruction. We especially support students enrolled in developmental mathematics courses offered by the Mathematics and Computer Science Department and the Department of Urban Education.
